Product Design, HCI & Design System
Overview
Led the end-to-end UI/UX and HCI design for Antium AI, a sophisticated workflow automation platform built for scientific and data-intensive environments. Working closely with PhD-level scientists, domain experts, and engineering teams, I translated highly complex technical requirements into intuitive product concepts, structured workflows, and user-centered experiences.
My role covered the product journey from concept development and information architecture to workflow design, HCI, interaction design, and visual design. A key part of the project was establishing a scalable design system, including reusable components, interaction patterns, layouts, typography, visual language, and design guidelines to create consistency across the product and support future development.
The project presented a unique design challenge: creating an experience for highly technical users without oversimplifying the complexity of their work. I focused on understanding their mental models and scientific workflows, then transforming them into clear, efficient, and flexible digital interactions. The result was a structured product experience that connected advanced technology with human-centered design while providing a strong foundation for continued product evolution.
